What classes can I compete in?

  • Closed Cab Class:
    Loudest sound inside the vehicle. Must be a consumer rig—no sponsored or dealer entries for prizes.

  • Open Cab Class:
    Loudest sound outside the vehicle. Same consumer-only rule applies for prize eligibility.

  • Overall Loudest SXS:
    Loudest total score from both mics (inside + outside). Open to all (including dealers & manufacturers), but only for the trophy—no prize money.

How are SPL scores measured?

  • Using Term Lab Pro SPL Mics

  • Two microphones:

    • One at steering wheel

    • One placed 10 ft out, 6 ft high from front or back bumper

  • Both scores are added together for total SPL

  • You’ll get 30 seconds to hit your peak volume

What are the basic rules?

  • Only UTVs (SxS) and ATVs allowed

  • Cab doors/windshields can be open or closed (must be OEM or OEM-style)

  • No portable/detached speakers

  • No engines or generators running

  • Any music allowed — but no test tones or profanity

  • One class entry per vehicle

  • Sponsored/Dealer/Manufacturer rigs can enter but are not eligible for prize money

What do I win?

  • 1 Trophy per class

  • One rider can win in two categories (e.g., Closed Cab + Overall Loudest)

  • The Overall Loudest SXS gets the ultimate bragging rights trophy

  • Note: Only consumer rigs are eligible for prize money
